Facilities
"all our facilities are located under one roof"
Pool - We have access to a full size swimming pool between the hours of 19.00 and 21.00 on Wednesday evenings. This provides us ample time for training of students, swimming, trying out new equipment etc.
Training Equipment - The Branch has eight complete sets of pool training equipment including bouyancy compensators (BCD's), regulator sets, masks/fins/snorkels, cylinders etc.
Compressor - Our two 9cfm compressors provides subsidised air fills for our members to 230 and 300 bar.
Diving Boats (Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats - RHIBs) - The Branch has two high-speed Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats (RHIB's). Both RHIBs are fitted with the latest electronic equipment including echo sonar, GPS and marine radio systems. Each boat is also kitted out with full safety equipment. These boats are able to operate both inshore and offshore providing swift transport to dive sites.
Class Room - The class room is used to deliver lectures for training courses and is also used for the various skill development courses ran by the Branch. TV and computer presentation facilites are available for us to use.
Bar/Social Area - An important area for any dive club! The social area allows members to catch up and plan any diving for the coming weeks. Branch announcements are made at 10pm regarding training issues, planned dives and any other matters of interest for the members.
